Pro-Plan is about making contraception knowledge and usage a priority.
From abstinence to vasectomy – contraception your way.

The current status of affairs in the US is for many not very admirable:

• Nearly half of pregnancies among American women are unintended.
• 93% of all abortions occur for social reasons
(i.e. the child is unwanted or inconvenient).
• Half of all women having an abortion have had at least one previous procedure.

The point is: what we’re doing is not working;
the contraception message is not strong and loud enough.

Pro-Plan does not suggest criminalizing induced terminations,
rather to make them the rare exception.
Our goal is that contraception, i.e. methods to prevent pregnancy in the first place,
be broadly acceptable and accessible.

It doesn’t matter if one is Pro-Life or Pro-Right.
Everyone can and should be Pro-Plan.

Can the question
Are you pro-life or pro-right?
be answered with

I am pro-plan, and if we do that right, the rest is history.
The time is now for pro-plan.

I’m impressed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s equally
educative and amusing, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the
nail on the head. The issue is something which too few folks are speaking intelligently about.
Now i’m very happy that I stumbled across this in my hunt
      for something regarding this.

Inconvenient? why do you use that term? I know no women who thought of it as simply “inconvenient”. When ever someone uses that term I feel they are belittling a woman who chose to have one.

Agreed. Even “unwanted” seems harsh, and maybe even not always the case.
Many reports sum up the various reasons using the two terms unwanted and inconvenient. Here is a longer version, according to Guttmacher:
”The reasons women give for having an abortion underscore their understanding of the responsibilities of parenthood and family life. Three-fourths of women cite concern for or responsibility to other individuals; three-fourths say they cannot afford a child; three-fourths say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or the ability to care for dependents; and half say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner.”
Could you contribute better terms for all that?

I do agree with all of the concepts you have offered in your post.
They are really convincing and will definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too short
for starters. May you please lengthen them a little from subsequent time?
    Thanks for the post.

I think that everything composed was very logical.
But, think about this, what if you typed a catchier title?
I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run our blog, however what if you
added a title that makes people want more? I mean abouut
    – pro-plan is a little plain. You could peek at Yahoo’s home page and
see how they create post titles to grab people interested.
You might try adding a video or a pic or two to get readers exckted about everything’ve written. In my opinion,
it wouuld make your pposts a little livelier.
