This is the topic in a new article from the National Women’s Health Network which is based on first-hand experience by its author, Julia Newman.  Julia writes: “It is time to start trusting that the IUD has evolved to be safe and effective.  The well regulated and tested “piece of plastic” is just as good as, if not better than, other birth control options and now it is free!  What more could you want from your birth control?”
